A SWEET LITTLE LAP SITTER: 11 years old / 12 lbs.

Hi, my name is Tiny! I had a home, but my mom passed away and my dad’s health did not allow him to continue to care for me. I was sad to leave my home, but I know Mostly Mutts will help me find a new family to love. Since health issues kept my parents from being able to care for me as I needed, fleas/skin and dental issues needed to be addressed, as well as surgery for removal of mammary masses. I received a good dental cleaning thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization and I am doing great in my foster home while I wait to find my new home where I can be spoiled and loved!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with another dog and get along fine with the dogs in my foster home, though I prefer the company of smaller dogs over large ones, so – if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet! / Cats unknown – though my foster thinks I’d probably do well with them if they like dogs, so let’s meet! / I recently met children at the shelter around 10 years old and a little younger and I shook the whole time I was with them. I didn’t show any aggression, so perhaps I just need a little more time to get to know kids. If you have older gentle kids, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a loving little girl with the sweetest demeanor. My foster describes me as a ‘little sweetheart’ who is “a joy to have around” – a perfect description of the little lap sitter that I am. I am social with people and seek affection and love. I’d like a stay or work from home family member, or perhaps a retired family that will have lots of time to spend with me as that’s what makes me happiest! Don’t’ let my age fool you as I am super-fast and will dart out the door in a split second, so please be careful not to let me outside off leash or to dart out a door or gate. / My energy level is 3-5, higher when I’m running.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I was briefly a student in the Mostly Mutts University before going to my foster home and learned the ‘come’ command, as well as good leash manners. I have even mastered the stairs in my foster home, which were new to me. I bet you can teach me some more great commands. / My crate manners are good in my foster home, as I sleep there through the night with no issues. / My person was ill, so could not let me outside to potty, so I used potty pads in my former home, but am doing well with my outside potty manners in my foster home and hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to be with my people and am always content to find a nice lap to cuddle in – my favorite spot. Belly rubs were great before my surgery, and I bet I’ll love them again! I also enjoyed the rubs and scrubs during bath time. Though the leash was new to me, I quickly discovered that I enjoy my walks, so – let’s go! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I had some masses in my mammary chains, so they have been removed and I've now been spayed, making my risk of cancer returning low, so that's good! I also had a dental cleaning and a few teeth pulled, thanks to a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization. I have some old lady lumps and bumps that don’t bother me, and I hope you don’t mind either.

I am looking for a home where I will be a cherished family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
