LOOKING FOR LOVE AND AFFECTION: 4 years old / 52 lbs.

Hello there! My name is Tori! I was at animal control with some scrapes on my neck and skin issues. Mostly Mutts knew they could help me feel better, as well as help me find my new family to love, so they came to my rescue! I have received the medical care I desperately needed and so much love from the volunteers. I am looking and feeling like a brand new girl. Bring on the good life!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: No dogs, please. I met some dogs at Mostly Mutts and seemed interested in them at first, but I didn’t like it when they tried to play with me. / Cats unknown / I recently met kids at Mostly Mutts (age 10+), and I liked them, so children around that age or older in my new home may be nice. Best no toddlers that I may accidentally bump over, and – of course, let’s meet!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I was frightened when I first arrived at Mostly Mutts, and the volunteers even hand fed me at first. I’ve really come out of my shell though and have learned that this is a good place with lots of wonderful volunteers who are there to make me feel comfortable and loved. I even did well for my baths and gave a kiss to my groomer. I am still not a big fan of being restrained (mainly out of fear), but I am quickly showing my affectionate side and super friendly personality. I am smart, fun, happy, tail waggin’ and ready to find my match in a great family / My energy level is 5-7.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so, I've mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. I will give my paw, too – ‘nice to meet you’ / I’m well-behaved in my crate at the shelter and go back in nicely after my training sessions because I’m a very good girl! / My potty habits have been very good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like petting and attention and will bark to let you know I am looking for some nice affection and love. I’ll reward you with kisses, too! I enjoy having fun with the volunteers and they enjoy my company, too / Other than not liking the restraint that comes with vet visits (I didn’t nip, just thrashed around), I can’t think of any real dislikes, though I may need some adjustment time to relax and get comfortable in my new home. I also would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all doggies deserve!

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. My scrapes and skin issues have all been tended to so I’m feeling good! I have a little lump on my left side which is an injection site reaction. The vet fully expects it to go away.

I am looking for a wonderful home where I will be a cherished family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
