Gender: Male

Secondary Breed: Jack Russell Terrier
Status: Adoptable

‘SEWING’ THEMED PUPPY:  2.5 – 3.5 months old / Small  Mostly Mutts adoption center is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  Hi there I’m Zig Zag!  My siblings and I were left at animal control at just 8 weeks old, but thankfully MM’s came for us!  It’s clear that we weren’t shown much love in whatever our former situation was as we were just so scared when 1st rescued.  Thankfully we all went into foster homes and have been learning that being a puppy should be fun and filled with lots of love, affection and of course puppy training.  I’m looking for a family that is patient and will understand that I may need a little extra time to feel at home, but I’m young so I know once I get into a great home, life will be good!  I’m the only boy in my litter and also the smallest.  I love playing fetch inside the home and I’m going to be smart pup as I already sit for treats and wait patiently while my family prepares my food.  I’ll give you a kiss and I just love cuddling!  Since I’m just a baby, I’ll likely chew on things that may be on the floor, cause that’s what pups do.  I like other dogs and think having a friendly dog in my new home would continue to help me come out of my shell.  I like when my foster mom talks to me in a sweet higher pitched voice.  When I do something I shouldn’t (cause I’m a puppy and I’m going to) she uses a correcting voice and I usually stop in my tracks.  Please use gentle correction with me as she does.  I bark like a typical doggie when someone is at the door.  Car rides are new, and I don’t love them yet, but I think I’ll learn to.  I’m new at potty training, so we’re using both pee pads and taking me outside too.  I’m still timid and new sounds and situations are a little harder for me, so keep working with me and showing me love!  Best no very young kids that may scare me or fall on me.  Energy level: Currently 5-7.  I'm neutered, micro-chipped and have started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish my series of puppy shots as I grow.  My adoption fee is $299.00 and includes the above medical treatments, a martingale collar, leash and engraved name tag too!
