DUDE

Some affectionately called him a plain ole’ Georgia brown dog, who sadly had spent some time living outdoors, after his owner passed away. Dude needed love, care, and to lose a few pounds. Once we brought him to our shelter, he began his transformation. By providing a quality diet, he slimmed down and his handsomeness emerged, then, he became a star pupil in our training program. We also discovered his ability to “sing.” Dude endeared himself to everyone with his melodic howl, which accompanied every siren he heard. After waiting patiently for over 6 months at our shelter, the perfect family fell in love with Dude. When he left with his new family, we all cheered, cried, and yes, howled.
