A diamond in the rough. And this boy was in rough shape. A victim of a dog hoarding situation, Basil was emaciated, hairless and riddled with mange . After months of medications, therapeutic baths, and constant attention by loving volunteers, the diamond emerged. And it shined so brightly, that this polished gem graduated from our training program, and blossomed into an impossibly beautiful dog, capturing the hearts of everyone, including a previous adopter who brought him home. Basil now shines on, with people who treat him as a treasured family member.
