THE FUTURE IS BRIGHTER FOR OUR COMMUNITY'S ANIMALS
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, Mostly Mutts has raised funds needed to open an affordable spay/neuter clinic. This milestone represents more than a building or a program - it represents hope for thousands of dogs and cats who might otherwise never get the chance at a safe, loving home.
The need for spay and neuter services in our community is urgent. In 2025 alone, more than 6,000 animals were abandoned in Cobb County. Unplanned litters continue to overwhelm animal control, rescues, and shelters, leading to overcrowding and unnecessary suffering. Spaying and neutering pets is the most effective way to prevent this cycle before it begins.
Currently, we are working with the architect on the plans, getting the necessary permits and finding the right team to staff our clinic. Our goal is to open the Mostly Mutts Spay/Neuter Clinic in 2026. The clinic will provide affordable spay and neuter surgeries for animals in our care, for other rescue organizations, and eventually the public. By increasing access to low-cost services, we can help pet owners make responsible choices and reduce the number of unwanted litters entering shelters.
In addition to saving lives, the clinic will also help sustain our rescue work. Mostly Mutts currently spends over $200,000 each year on medical care. Having our own clinic will significantly reduce these costs, allowing more of every donated dollar to go directly toward rescue, rehabilitation, and finding animals loving homes.

This achievement belongs to our community. Because of you, we are taking a major step toward a future with fewer homeless animals and more lives saved. We will keep you updated as the project progresses.
