Hi, my name is Charleston! I was on my own and in need of a loving home, so a good citizen helped me find my way to Mostly Mutts. I am now living in the Kitty Room at the shelter and am ready to meet my new family. Plan to come meet me soon!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I’m making friends with my kitty roommates, so I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / Dogs unknown / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I am blossoming into a sweet kitten – I just need patience on the part of my new owner and time to adjust. I am probably the most shy kitten in the Kitty Room right now. The volunteers have learned that if they sit not looking at me, I’ll open up and let them pet me, so … baby steps! Bit by bit, I’m getting used to human attention and am warming up to the love and affection that comes my way. Volunteers come daily to spend time with me – making sure I am ready to bring lots of kitty love to my new home when my family finds me!
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy discovering how the kitty toys work and getting acquainted with the nice volunteers. It is common for me to sit and give slow blinks to you from across the room as I crouch on my little bed. But … I really want to love and be loved and am getting more comfortable with seeking affection that I do surely enjoy. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!
• MEDICAL: I’m up-to-date on my kitten shots, microchipped and neutered.
