Hi, my name’s Kate! I was living on my own with some other kitty friends, and we really needed a good home, so a good citizen was able to help us make our way to Mostly Mutts. After spending a short time in a great foster home, I am now ready to find a loving home of my very own – perhaps with YOU!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along well with the kitties with whom I came to Mostly Mutts. We co-exist well together, so I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have a kitty-friendly (or kitty-tolerant) doggie at home, we can probably be pals. / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My official title according to the volunteers is ‘the observer’. I just need a couple of minutes to watch you before I warm up to you. They also mentioned that I am the smartest of the bunch, so – how about that? I’ve been out on my own to start life, so I am learning the routines of being an indoor kitty – discovering kitten toys and – when it strikes my fancy … nice warm laps. I still have a bit of ‘feral skittishness’, but … if you move slowly, I will lovingly accept petting. Each day, I grow more comfortable with the volunteers and look forward to them spending time with me and my kitty friends. I am sure to bring lots of love to my new family.
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: Like my sister, I am pretty food motivated and love those churro kitty treats! I enjoy playing with toys and my kitty friends. Sometimes, you will find me perched on the cat tree … and other times I am hanging out with a kitty friend on a comfy blanket. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!
• MEDICAL: I’m up-to-date on my kitten shots, microchipped and spayed.
