Hi, my name’s Potsie – one the adorable ‘Happy Days’ themed kittens! My siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts at just 4 weeks old from animal control. A party of eight, we were divided into two great foster homes, where we have been growing and thriving. Now, it is time for us to find new families of our very own! I am excited to start the good life in my new home, so plan to meet me soon!
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along very well with my siblings, as well as other kitties I’ve met in my foster home! I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / I’ve done well with the dogs I’ve met in my foster home. It likely will depend on the dog, but if you have kitty-friendly doggie at home, we would likely do well together. / I can be timid and startle easily if children are running around and being loud. My best match would be in a home with older, calm children. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I might be a little shy at first, but once I get comfortable, you’ll see I’ve got a big personality tucked inside this growing, chunky body of mine. I like to do things my own way and in my own time, but if you bring out a string toy — well, that’s the key to my heart and my confidence. With a little patience, I learned that exploring beyond my safe spot isn’t so scary after all, and now I’m happy to do my own thing while still keeping an eye on you. I’m an independent thinker, playful when I feel like it, and I’m sure to grow into quite the lovable little chunk.
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: Though I am not a big cuddler, I am a sweet guy who just likes to do things at my own pace. I enjoy my independence and am happy to do my own thing. But … if you’ve got a string toy … I’ll be right there to play! That’s my favorite, and it helped me feel brave enough to explore the whole house. / Lots of commotion and loud noises startle me, so definitely a quieter home for me, please. Otherwise, I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve!
• MEDICAL: I am up-to-date on my kitten shots, microchipped and neutered.
